So I've started reading this web site https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/antimemetics-division-hub, and thought it might be good for the club. Found it because it is being published / is recently published as a novel. We could also read the novel I guess, but it's new so i don't know it's availability.
Let me know if you want to do it, and when, and I'll organize the questions.

Nobody has responded to this yet so I'll leap in A quick glance suggests that it's a work in progress, and deliberately so in the hope that other contributions might arise. I don't think this of itself is a problem, and I guess if there's wider enthusiasm among club members, then we'd just pick a certain amount of stuff that already exists and agree to focus on that (presumably also touching on the wider concept).
If we get a few more responses then we can slot this in to the schedule in whatever month works for you. The current plan is:
November @NeilNjae two of the Arthurian Romances by Chretien de Troyes
December me with Ammonite
January @clash_bowley with Nada the Lily
But these can be nudged around depending when and if you'd like to fit Antimemetics in.
It's also on bookshop. However it seems the novel is exactly what is published on the website? Anyway, I thought it might be interesting to look at what the experience of reading a novel that originates as hyperlink on a website, which itself seems to be a team effort, might be interesting. It's really up to you guys.
Would we be required to read all of the hyperlinks on the 'Suggested Reading Order' list? Does the book contain the exact same material? The Guide for Newcomers says that there are over 10,000 articles on the website. It looks like they are all short articles, but that can't all fit in one book right?
@kcaryths The novel seems to consist of the sections on the webpage called 1. Critical background reading, 2. There Is No Antimemetics Division by qntm, 3. Interlude, and 4. Five Five Five Five Five by qntm. I say seems to because I haven't done an exhaustive word by word comparison.
The interesting part is that there is so much other material, and it's by so many other people.
@kcaryths Yeah, the issue around the format needs to be examined. There is no paperback of the book available. And it's not cheap even in ebook considering that you can read it for free on the website. It's an interesting development in publishing. I guess they're trying to leverage print on demand? What about tariffs? Seems really odd to me. On the web site forum people are talking about a movie deal. Or maybe Netflix I don't know.
Right let's assume we're going for it, tackling the material @BarnerCobblewood outlined

So... when would you like to slot this in to the sequence? Let me know what month you'd like to pick and I'll set up the discussion area accordingly.
I’m willing to give the book a go. Looks like Amazon has a hardcover for about $39, and an audio for a credit ($about $15). Kindle is $17, which seems high . Toronto Public Library has 19 copies hardcover plus audio and eReader versions, so it’s available.

Also not keen on website reading.
I'm not keen on website reading but I'm even less keen on spending £9-10 on an ebook

Just schedule me whenever the next available slot is. I don't want to bump someone who has already done some work on their book, and can do it anytime.

Following on from what @clash_bowley said let's adjust the schedule to
November @NeilNjae two of the Arthurian Romances by Chretien de Troyes
December me with Ammonite
January @BarnerCobblewood with the sections on the web site https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/antimemetics-division-hub (or some other suitable format of the same material )called 1. February @clash_bowley with Nada the Lily

Oh boy, these Arthurian stories are WAY out of my wheelhouse. I guess this is why I do things like this!
Let me know if you want to do it, and when, and I'll organize the questions.
In what way?
Just not something I ever would have chose to read. It's a great way to be exposed to things I otherwise would have avoided though.

@RichardAbbott As I mentioned there is a novel: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/There_Is_No_Antimemtics_Division
It's on the usual places: https://guardianbookshop.com/there-is-no-antimemetics-division-9781529953176/?utm_source=editoriallink&utm_medium=merch&utm_campaign=article https://www.amazon.com/s?k=9780593983751 https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=9780593983751 https://www.amazon.ca/s?k=9780593983751 but as I mentioned it's new so those of us who like paperbacks seem out of luck.

It's more of that cosmic horror stuff.
This looks fascinating! I'd love to give it a whirl!
I'm a bit confused!

I believe @BarnerCobblewood means this as our read: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/There_Is_No_Antimemtics_Division

The novel is released under the creative commons license. https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/
At the bottom of the web page https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/antimemetics-division-hub is a section explaining the license and how to cite it.
Gotcha.
I'd be up for reading the book. I don't think I would have the attention span to try and tackle it on a website.

And what about libraries?

@BarnerCobblewood can bump me in the sequence! I haven't started any prep yet!
I can take the text on the wiki and convert it into an epub file of the book. It won't be pretty, but it might be better than reading a website.

In the middle of the second. They were longer than I expected, and I was real busy!
I finished the second one today. Good to go!
Ready
All done.
You can start - I'm mostly done...
Sorry, busy week at work. I'll try to get some questions up this evening.
