3) @clash_bowley any ideas for November?

Sounds fun! Looking forward to that one
This was recommended by Albert Bailey, friend, plasma physicist, and frequent game design collaborator. He designed Lowell Was Right with me and said there were strong echoes of that game in the book.
I am considering a few titles. Was leaning toward Everfair by Nisi Shawl, but maybe that’s too similar to the November selection. Will look at some other options.

For December, I’m leaning toward Hav, by Jan Morris. However, I’d like to pick a book everyone can get a hold of, and Hav doesn’t appear to be available on kindle in Canada. I’d ask you all to investigate whether you can get this book. If you can’t, or if it doesn’t appeal to you - no problem, I’ll pick something else. I have dozens of books to choose from!

Excellent, I'll set up the discussion area
This is also a reminder that this month's read is @NeilNjae 's choice Dracula

How are people getting on with Dracula? Are we on track for discussion next weekend?
I've finished so ready when you are
Dracula is an old friend - I've read it five or six times now. I'm ready whenever...
Just a quick note on current look-ahead...

Looks like a clockwork punk story, with elements of my Volant, In Harm's Way Napoleonic Naval, and Lowell Was Right games... Would be a fun kit-bash!

Everybody loves a plasma physicist...
Dracula questions are finally up. Sorry for the delay. Let's hope they're up to @Apocryphal 's standards!
Arabella of Mars discussion area set up now
Thank you, Richard!
Over here I can get it in paperback or hardback but not kindle (nor Audible, though I probably wouldn't choose that anyway)
However, the means I should just pick something else.
I read it once - it's interesting.
Never read it but happy to give it a go
If you're settled on Shardik I'll set up the discussion area in the next few days

Hi all, quick check around to see how people are getting on with The Ship Who Sang?
Finished it some time ago.
Finished yesterday.
Oh, damn. I got all confused. I've read Arabella of Mars instead. Whoops!
You got two days to read The Ship Who Sang, Njae! Can you do it? ARE YOU MAN ENOUGH?
I might put discussion starters up today or tomorrow as we're travelling Wednesday so just chip in as and when possible!
