City Question 9: Gaming
Was there anything in this book which would lend itself to a good gaming experience? I suspect it might be difficult due to the way the book was structured but I'd be interested to hear what you think.

I think it's decent fodder for a 'story game', which is to say, the kind of game where everyone players a character for a 3-hour session and describes events or speaks in dialogue to one another. Imagine, if you can, the film The Man From Earth starring John Billingsly (from Star Trek) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Man_from_Earth then that's the kind of roleplay experience I could see emerging from this book. Maybe in this case, an immortal robot speaks to a room full of young dogs who will believe him or not believe him, then try to either prove him wrong or question each other's beliefs.
But I don't see much emerging from this novel in the traditional RPG sphere.
Yes, it could be the outcome of a game of Microscope, where players create a history of a bunch of time.
As for more traditional RPG fodder? I'm not sure there's much there. Most of the stories are very static and introspective.
